Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions: refunds, complaints, safety reporting, and texting.

Plain terms, in writing, so you never have to wonder. Effective August 5, 2026.

The $99 evaluation and refunds

  • The evaluation fee is $99, and it is refundable if you do not qualify for treatment. If a licensed clinician determines treatment is not appropriate for you, you get the $99 back - no forms to fight through, no partial-credit games.
  • If you prepay for a visit and cancel with at least 24 hours notice, we refund or rebook, your choice.
  • Insurance-billed services follow your plan's rules; we tell you the cash price and the coverage path honestly before you commit. See cost and coverage.

Complaints

  • If something about your experience was not right, tell us - call or text (314) 314-9112 and ask for the practice manager. We acknowledge complaints within two business days and give you a real answer, not a form letter.
  • You may also complain to the Missouri Division of Professional Registration (pr.mo.gov) about any licensed professional, and for privacy matters to the HHS Office for Civil Rights - details on our privacy practices page. We never retaliate against anyone for complaining.

Side effects and adverse events

  • If you experience a concerning symptom or side effect during or after treatment, contact us right away at (314) 314-9112. A clinician reviews every report.
  • For a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room first - then tell us.
  • You can also report medication side effects directly to the FDA MedWatch program at fda.gov/medwatch or 1-800-FDA-1088. For Spravato, the manufacturer's REMS program also tracks safety events, and we complete that reporting as required.
  • If you're in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), any hour.

Medication

  • Spravato is never dispensed to patients directly; it is administered only in the clinic under REMS requirements.

Text messaging terms and conditions

  • Program: Brain Recovery Centers sends appointment confirmations, reminders, scheduling replies, and care-coordination messages by SMS to patients and callers who have opted in from our clinic line, (314) 314-9112. We do not send marketing texts without your separate opt-in.
  • How you opt in: by telling our staff yes on a call, by signing the consent line on our intake form, or by texting our clinic number first.
  • Marketing texts: Brain Recovery Centers sends marketing text messages only to people who sign up on our text updates page and check its consent box. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of any purchase or of care. Reply STOP to any marketing text to opt out.
  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Opt out at any time: reply STOP to cancel and you will receive one confirmation text and nothing further. Reply START to rejoin.
  • Help: reply HELP, call or text us at (314) 314-9112, or email consult@brainrc.com.
  • Your data: We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
